Amazing time checking out the new MONOVA – Museum of North Vancouver space and photographing their open house with attendance from long-time North Vancouver residents, supporters and local city council members. I have to say this space was just done right! The modern venue is situated on the ground floor of a residential tower in the Lonsdale Quay neighbourhood. While the space is jam packed with North Van history, it feels roomy and there is also a great gift shop at the entrance. You’ll first notice the old school tram/trolley bus when you first enter and when you step into it, you can’t help but feel like you’re being transported back in time.
