Absolutely one of the best organizing and planning teams is the CPHR BC & Yukon team. They always put the best for their guests at everyone of their events and amazingly, it is always on time! Definitely makes our job covering their events so smooth. Although, we are always ready for the unexpected at any event ;). Glad to be back for their annual awards dinner recognizing some of the best in the human resource arena in BC and the Yukon. And of course, always great to be photographing at the Fairmont Pacific Rim, Vancouver. Thank you for having us back. Here is a snippet of the fun that night!

An insanely fun event to capture. This wasn’t just an art auction event. It was filled with entertainment, beautiful art, generous supports, and all held at one of our favourite Vancouver event venues: The Permanent. All in support of the Dr. Peter AIDS Foundation / Dr. Peter Centre where they provide essential services for people with Aids facing challenges including mental health support. They do important work and fundraising events like this one, helps keeps the centre running. Our business loves dealing with RBC and happy to see them as the presenting sponsor for the Art for Life event (not just this year but for many, many years). Proud to add Dr. Peter AIDS Foundation to our list of Not-for-Profit clients!

Wow… the amazing places our work takes us and the amazing people we get to meet. This event was no exception. The ALDO Group held a road show series featuring founder: Aldo Bensadoun and Senior VP: Diaanara Amalfitano… both of them oozing with charm! While capturing the event, we also got to hear so much about the history of ALDO, their different brands, products and future. Amazing time and such a great team to work with. They’re definitely crafted from love from top to bottom.

Mayor’s BBQ – Tri-Cities Chamber of Commerce

Twas time for the annual Tri-Cities Chamber of Commerce’s Mayor’s Barbecue! Lots of local politician and civic election candidates at this one as well… the elections are almost here! Unfortunately we didn’t see Anmore or Port Moody representation at this one but the Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam and Belcarra mayors and participated in a Q&A for the attendees. Awesome Greek cuisine from Dinakis Mediterranean Grill and a great event space hosted by Riverside Church, Port Coquitlam. Thank you to Mayors: Brad West, Richard Stewart and Jamie Ross and the Tri-Cities Chamber of Commerce for hosting a great evening. Here are some captures from the evening.

Promise Gala | BCIT Aerospace Centre | UrbanPromise Vancouver

Amazing time at The Promise Gala! With the constant hustle and bustle of our business, we need to remind ourselves to carve out time to support worthwhile organizations such as Urban Promise Vancouver. If you are not familiar with this foundation’s work, the overarching organization is Internationally recognized… the Vancouver branch is opening a facility in Downtown Eastside Vancouver. The beautiful space has been provided by a generous donor and it was renovated thanks to the generosity and time given by volunteers. UP Vancouver President Abraham Han plans to offer after school programs and classes for adults in the area. We wanted to do our part and sat on the committee to organize the inaugural annual Promise Gala. Thanks to many volunteers and top notch businesses (and friends!) the first ever Promise Gala was spectacular and gave a sneak peek into how awesome future years will be. It was all hands on deck as our team also photographed the event and provided our popular photo booth plus our portrait station to add to the fun. There are so many people that came together to make this gala a huge success but we wanted to add a personal thanks to our friends that really answered the call to donate their time, energy and funds: Parq Vancouver (JW Marriott), Marriott Pinnacle Vancouver Hotel, Fairmont Hotel Vancouver, Tagulan, LFX Jewelry, Elsa Corsi/Jeweliette Jewelery, Leslie Biggar, PaperFlorist.ca, Blush Vintage Furniture Rentals, Loungeworks, Ganache Patisserie, Hard Rock Casino Vancouver, Paletterra, Fete Chinoise, Najin Tse, Paper Crane Media, Oxygen Yoga, Raquel Cheng Do of Sutton Realty, Planet Hair, Vivian & Alrick Celestine. A great big thank you to Mark Guilaran of Skyline Mobiles for providing all of the audio/visual needs and Lien Yeung, award-winning CBC News Anchor and Producer, for being the best emcee ever. As you can see, we were a bit more involved than normal for this one and I can keep repeating that it really couldn’t have happened without the help of our friends. Amazing time overall and it’s not too late to contribute.
