Art for Life – Dr. Peter AIDS Foundation

An insanely fun event to capture. This wasn’t just an art auction event. It was filled with entertainment, beautiful art, generous supports, and all held at one of our favourite Vancouver event venues: The Permanent. All in support of the Dr. Peter AIDS Foundation / Dr. Peter Centre where they provide essential services for people with Aids facing challenges including mental health support. They do important work and fundraising events like this one, helps keeps the centre running. Our business loves dealing with RBC and happy to see them as the presenting sponsor for the Art for Life event (not just this year but for many, many years). Proud to add Dr. Peter AIDS Foundation to our list of Not-for-Profit clients!

Night of a Thousand Stars Gala | Event Photography

Back at it with our event photography team at the Vancouver Convention Centre. Glad to be back for an in-person gala… especially at one of our favourite annual ones with the VGH/UBC Hospital Foundation and the Night of a Thousand Stars gala. It has been a while of course, but this edition of the annual fundraiser is a bit of a hybrid one to ensure that all safety protocols are followed to protect all of the guests, staff, vendors and volunteers. Guests were split between two venues: The Vancouver Convention Centre, West and the Royal Vancouver Yacht Club. It was so well done and I definitely felt safe working it so well done to the team and great to see so many familiar faces after quite a while!

Dr. Bonnie Henry made an appearance as well to present the BC Health Care Workers with the 2021 Leadership Award. Very well deserved. After a bit of a hiatus for events in BC due to the pandemic, it was a bit surreal to meet Dr. Henry (and her interpreter) after seeing them on our TV and computer screens the past two years. We are very grateful for all of our healthcare and frontline workers and totally support them getting recognized at this event. Here’s a quick selection of the evening. Every year the Kimberly Foundation takes video submissions from students to help spread the word about climate change and its impact on our world. We had the opportunity to meet the film makers, watch the final nominations, and see the award and scholarship presentations. Photographing the wonderful event put on by the Kimberly Sisters was a blast to be a part of and we look forward to seeing the students videos in the future!

Fairmont Hotel Vancouver – Staff Christmas Banquet

We spend a lot of time at the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver and have been lucky to get to know some of the wonderful staff they have working at the hotel over the years. It makes our job that much better having familiar faces around, so to get to be a part of the hotel’s staff party was something we were looking forward to!
